Everything has it's price!

During one of our class discussions, our professor had us, students look up food on goodguide.com to see if what we would regularly eat, is good for us or not. The results were fascinating!

Something my little brother eats on almost a daily basis, is said to be connected to ADHD. Which is an attention span disorder for children. People usually grow out of it. But the fascinating thing about this is that there are no warning labels, nothing to tell the public of how bad this product really is for children, and people in general. There should be some kind of law against being able to sell these products to the general public.

There were many different cases of foods, hair products, and deodorants being linked to cancer. Items that people use everyday, and have no clue that they could be so harmful. There needs to be a public announcement about these findings. And what about the site itself? The producers knew before anyone else, about how bad certain products are, and didn't do anything about it. Many people don't even know that this goodguide.com website exists.

How could any company put chemicals into their products, knowing there could be harm done to people by using the products. I just don't get it. I guess it's similar to tobacco companies. They know their products kill people, cause all kinds of cancers, and even harm people who aren't using them. But they have yet to do anything about it. Although i will give them credit for putting warning labels on their products. I guess that's something.
